Rev. David L. McIntosh, Jr.
Pastor McIntosh serves as Senior Pastor of McIlwain Memorial Presbyterian Church, where he was called in 2022. His call to ministry took root at Clemson University through Reformed University Fellowship and the encouragement of the elders at Clemson Presbyterian Church. He went on to earn an M.Div. from Covenant Seminary in St. Louis, then served on staff at Twin Oaks Presbyterian Church in St. Louis and Woodruff Road Presbyterian Church in Greenville, SC, and Hartsville Presbyterian Church in Hartsville, SC.
Pastor McIntosh is a “plain style” preacher, convicted that the whole Bible points to Jesus Christ, and therefore, walking you into each passage preached with a view to orienting you in it sufficiently enough that you can meet the Christ in the middle of it. He is married to Amie, and they have four grown children and a daughter-in-law. When he is not in the study or visiting members, David can usually be found in his woodshop or making improvements around the house.

A member of McIlwain, Carolynn has served in the church office since 2018. Born in Montgomery, she holds a BA in History and completed paralegal studies. She and her husband Bruce have six grown children and enjoy the blessings of being grandparents, along with walks, reading, and time with family.
Born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Lori grew up in Pensacola as a third-generation McIlwainian and is the wife of Glen, a McIlwain deacon. Alongside producing the church’s publications, she serves on the Worship Team as one of McIlwain’s pianists. A mother of three, she enjoys crafts, handwork, and time at the piano.
Amie serves McIlwain as Assistant to the Session for Women’s Ministry. She and Pastor Mac have been married since 1996 and have four children: Rachael, Benjamin, Jonathan, and Martyn. Amie is a graduate of Clemson University and trained as a registered nurse. She loves taking walks, spending time with family, and serving the Lord and his people. You can often find Amie praying fervently for others, joyfully listening, or feeding a small army of church members and friends.
