Pensacola Theological Institute

Founded in 1956, the Pensacola Theological Institute has been an important part of preserving the timeless truths of the Reformation and instructing Christians in them. It also served as a rallying point for the formation of the Presbyterian Church in America.

For 45 years this week-long event featured the finest Bible scholars in the world, and visitors came from different denominations all over the United States to enjoy outstanding teaching and a distinguished pulpit ministry, along with the beautiful beaches and hospitality of Pensacola.

Although the annual Institute has ended, the legacy of the Pensacola Theological Institute lives on as McIlwain makes many of the Institute's lectures and sermons from our archives available online. Over its history the Institute has hosted some of the greatest preachers and teachers in the Evangelical and Reformed world, and their Institute messages are a priceless legacy of our ongoing Reformed heritage.
