Our vision at McIlwain Presbyterian Church is
To be a beacon of glory to God, upholding and proclaiming the Reformed Faith, and transforming lives by the grace of the
Gospel of Jesus Christ in Pensacola, the Gulf Coast, and the world.
Our Mission
Our mission at McIlwain is to glorify God as we
- Exalt God through whole-life worship and faithful teaching of His Word;
- Evangelize our local culture and the world with His truth;
- Enfold His covenant community in loving care and encouragement;
- Equip believers for mature discipleship and effective ministry.
Our Priorities
As we pursue our vision and enact our mission, McIlwain gives priority to:
- Faithful preaching and teaching of the Word in accord with the tenets of the Reformed Faith;
- Pursuit of holiness, whole-life worship, and stewardship of gifts and resources;
- Active and caring fellowship and community;
- Strong support for the Christian family as God's basic unit of society;
- Compassionate and energetic outreach to our culture;
- Earnest equipping of mature disciples;
- Persistent and fervent prayer in full dependence on God's grace and power.
